5:00 PM - Dinner 6:00 PM - Movie and Discussion

In the Heights, the movie version of the Broadway musical, tells the story of an immigrant Latino community struggling to make it in Washington Heights, a neighborhood that at one point in history served the same role for new Jewish immigrants to America. After watching the film, we’ll discuss the immigrant experience of many of our families and how that can inform the way in which we view the challenges other communities face today.
